What is the JWF Fund?

  • The JWF Fund was founded in 2005 and is operated solely by the Japan Water Forum (JWF), which aims to support selected grass-roots organizations in developing countries, which have been addressing local water-related issues.
  • Every year, the JWF publicly seeks projects to support. Those adopted are eligible to receive funding of up to US$ 1,500 each. Our assessment focuses on the consistency of project solutions, and reliance on locally available materials, personnel, technology, and facility maintenance structures. Please visit here for more details.
  • The JWF Fund is based on the membership fees of JWF members and donations from general contributors.

We sincerely ask for your support.
