The Asia-Pacific Water Forum (APWF) is an independent and not-for-profit network organization. The objective is to raise the priority of tackling water security issues highlighted in the development agenda in the Asia-Pacific region in order to improve people’s livelihoods and the environment. The JWF has maintained a role as the Secretariat of the APWF since its establishment in 2006.

The Asia-Pacific Water Forum (APWF) regularly organizes webinars with the aim of sharing knowledge on water-related issues and strengthening collaboration among stakeholders. Each session features experts and relevant organizations who discuss the latest initiatives and challenges.

The APWF Webinar Series was launched as part of the preparatory process for the 4th Asia-Pacific Water Summit (4th APWS). It has provided opportunities for government officials, international organizations, and experts in the Asia-Pacific region to learn about and discuss water and water-related issues from multiple perspectives.

APWF / NoWNET Sessions at Stockholm World Water Week
APWF has also led and co-organized sessions at Stockholm World Water Week, focusing on water-related issues in the Asia-Pacific region. In addition, through NoWNET (Northern Water Network), APWF has been promoting international knowledge sharing and collaboration in partnership with water-related organizations in various countries.
