The Japan Water Forum is excited to announce the “Youth Water Forum Asia,” an international exchange event for the youth generation and high school students focusing on water, scheduled to commence at 2:30 PM on November 11th (Saturday).
This event is part of the newly initiated Capacity Development and Awareness Raising program “Youth Water Forum,” which began in the year 2021, following the 4th Asia-Pacific Water Summit (APWS) held in Kumamoto City in April 2022. This year, marking the third year of the program, we are thrilled to host this event for the first time.
At the event “Youth Water Forum Asia”, high school students from Indonesia, Japan and Korea will share information about water-related challenges and conservation efforts in their own nations, deepening their understanding and learning from each other.
The forum aims to nurture individuals capable of making significant contributions on the international stage in the future and to expand the efforts of the youth generation beyond borders and generations, thereby assisting in solving water-related issues in Asia and around the globe.
Date: November 11, 2023 (Saturday), 14:30 – 17:00
Location: Kumamoto Hotel Castle B1, Crystal Hall (4-2 Joto-machi, Chuo-ku, Kumamoto City, Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan)
