– Advance Notice of Call for Applications | Kyoto World Water Grand Prize 2027

The call for applications for the Kyoto World Water Grand Prize 2027 will open on Tuesday, March 31, 2026.

The Prize is an international award that recognizes outstanding initiatives by non-profit organizations working at the community level in developing countries to address water-related challenges, and shares their achievements with the world.
Details regarding eligibility and application procedures will be provided in the guidelines to be released when the call opens.

The application will open on March 31.

– Youth Water Forum 2025 Submission Videos Now Available on YouTube!

The Youth Water Forum 2025 call for video submissions began on 2 June 2025. We received a large number of entries from high school‑aged youth across Japan. The submissions include a wide variety of themes, from water in everyday life and unique local water resources to river ecosystem experiments, water‑related research, and interviews on water issues around the world. Each video has been created from the unique perspective of high school-aged youth(15-18 years old). Eligible videos are now being released on the Youth Water Forum YouTube channel.

The Youth Water Forum marks its fifth year in 2025. More than 120 videos have been shared to date, reflecting the growing interest and engagement of young people in water‑related issues. We will continue to provide this platform as a place where youth can share their ideas and actions with the world.

The call for video submissions for Youth Water Forum 2026 is scheduled to begin in June 2026. We look forward to receiving your submissions!
