Courtesy Visit
On Monday, October 27, 2025, the Japan Water Forum paid a courtesy visit to the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Japan.
This visit was conducted with the aim of strengthening collaboration in preparation for the 11th World Water Forum, which will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in March 2027.
We were warmly welcomed by H.E. Mr. Ghazi Faisal Saeed Binzagr, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Japan, and engaged in a fruitful exchange of views following an introduction to our activities. We were particularly moved by the Ambassador’s passionate interest not only in areas of deep bilateral relevance such as water resources and seawater desalination, but also in fields of shared concern between our two countries.
This visit served as a valuable opportunity to reaffirm the importance of mutual understanding and to strengthen our commitment to continued collaboration. We were also deeply touched by the traditional Saudi hospitality, including the offering of locally renowned dates and Saudi coffee, which made for a truly heartwarming experience.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Ambassador Binzagr and all the staff at the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Japan for their generous hospitality and valuable time.
