This session will focus on the ecological strategies about how to transfer the water vision into water action through encouraging ecological planning, ecological engineering and ecological management or enhancement of hardware, software and mindware based on the theory of social-economic-natural complex ecosystem. The main objectives of this session are expected to
- Promote China Water Vision into water action.
- Provide an international platform for whose who are concerning and interesting in water issues of China to exchange their ideas.
- Provide a chance for Chinese water experts to show their practice in water-integrated management to the international water researchers and managers.
The key issues discussed in the session will be:
- the strategy and policy analysis and assessment for transferring the China water vision into water action.
- the economic, social and ecological measures for improving water use efficiency in industry and agriculture.
- water management in river basin scale.
- the case studies on water resource saving and recycling, water purification through decentralized ecological engineering, water landscape conservation, water culture cultivation and water security
