Invitation to International Symposium
on 2nd Asia-Pacific Water Summit
◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇

The 2nd APWS will take place in Bangkok, Thailand on 5 - 6 February 2012 under the theme "Water Security: Leadership and Commitment". Heads of state and government from the Asia-Pacific region, as well as top-level leaders from various sectors, will gather to seek solutions for water security in the region.

Coming ahead of the 2nd APWS, this symposium will be a chance to share news on current water issues, and on what actions are ongoing, through discussions among eminent panelists including members of parliament. It will underline the importance of political will in resolving water problems.

After the symposium, there will be a gathering where, over a drink, participants will have an opportunity for some informal networking.
