A NoWNET member should be a nonexclusive and recognized network, which represents the water sector of its country to the international water community and encourages an active participation of multi stakeholders (governments, private sectors, NGOs and academia) in water-related activities.

Each country should be represented by only one network.

NoWNET collaborates with World Water Council and Global Water Partnership.

Those networks that wish to join NoWNET and meet the above conditions will be approved as new members preferably by consensus.
